Motorbike Rally in India to Raise Awareness of Team Tibet

Dehli, 6/25/07 - On June 23rd, four motorcyclists began a 14-day motorbike tour in India to raise awareness about Team Tibet and the "Bring Tibet to the 2008 Games" campaign. The four will join another motorcyclist in Chandigarh before heading to Ladakh, where they will join a larger group of bikers. They will hold awareness-raising events throughout the course of the tour and will return to Delhi to coincide with celebrations for the Dalai Lama's birthday on July 6th.

Zurich, 10/6/07 - Less than a month after going live, this website - the site of the international Tibet movement's campaign around the Olympic Games - appears to have been blocked by China's internet firewall. A test run on www.greatfirewallofchina.org shows no access for users in China (or Tibet). China's firewall screens out sites and information deemed "sensitive" for the Chinese government.
